How to publish GWAS summary statistics

These instructions describe how you may publish your GWAS summary statistics with the entire research community in a public bucket hosted by FinnGen.

1. Prerequisites You should have GWAS summary statistics related to an approved analysis proposal. Note! Only GWAS summary statistics may be published, other file formats are not supported. The summary statistics should have been formed using case/control groups of >=5 individuals and should not contain any individual-level data. These summary statistics should already be shared in FinnGen hosted internal green bucket (How to share GWAS summary statistics). You should have a finngen.fi account. Your shared results should be related to a manuscript that has been approved by FinnGen partners.\

2. Identify the location of your data in FinnGen hosted internal green bucket gs://fg-publication-green.\

3. Fill in form to request to publish your summary statistics. https://elomake.helsinki.fi/lomakkeet/123869/lomake.html Note! Your data will be published to a public bucket gs://fg-publication-green-public and this bucket is accessible by anyone with Internet connection.\

4. Your request is automatically sent to [e-mail] We will handle your request and get back to you if more information is needed. Once data is released, you will receive the URL from us.\
