Monitoring Sandbox costs directly from your Google billing account

For Sandboxes that are linked to FinnGen Partners' own existing Google Cloud accounts, the costs can be monitored directly from the respective Google billing account.

How to display the FinnGen Sandbox billing

Select "Sandbox associated billing account" from the Google console here. Remember to login with your finngen.fi account and select the right billing account.

How to get a detailed cost breakdown

Select "Reports" from the left-hand menu.

Select Reports from your Google Cloud console for detailed cost breakdown.

How to filter the results

You can further filter the report by using the "Filters" menu on the right. Select your Sandbox from "Projects" (fg-production-sandbox-[org. name]) and narrow the scope further with "Labels". To filter by Sandbox user, use "Key" [user] and "Value" (fg-production-sandbox-[org. name]-[firstname]-[lastname]).

Billing Account Creator

The partner administrator who established the Google Cloud project and initially configured the billing account is the Billing Account Creator (and likely also the Billing Account Administrator).

This person can grant billing account-specific privileges for other uses (eg. Billing Account Viewer).
