Selecting the correct box in Atlas for events and medical codes

By default, Atlas will include all registers to the search except the DEATH register. See instructions on how to restrict the search for specific registers. To search from the DEATH register the concept set can be added as another entry or inclusion criteria.
Finnish-specific non-standard codes are mapped to OMOP-CDM standard codes both of which are available in Atlas. Most of the Finnish codes are classified under conditions, procedures, or drug domains. The observation domain contains other clinical facts that cannot be represented by any other domains like conditions, procedures, or drug domains.
Sometimes it may be difficult to decide the boxes where to set the search criteria. The following table gives examples of how to select registers and medical code(s) for the entry, inclusion, and exit event criteria in Atlas. See instructions on how to define a cohort in Atlas. Note that all registries except the DEATH register are included by default if not filtered by clinical registers. Example figures are under the table.
A condition occurrence of 'Any Condition' + Condition Source concept is 'my concept set'
INPAT, OUTPAT, PRIM_OUT
